In January 2001, HEK Manufacturing BV became part of Intervect AB. This new company created excellent opportunities for HEK to continue to be an innovator and to develop new, more efficient vertical access solutions.

In 2005 the Intervect Group, global providers of vertical access solutions for the construction and other industries, has launched a new worldwide market-driven re-branding strategy encompassing a name change to Alimak Hek -- the names of the Group’s two strongest product names.
